Four Seasons Hotel

Four Seasons Hotel

The Four Seasons opened in 2001 in a great location. Situated within two blocks of Union Square and Yerba Buena Center (SFMOMA), the luxury hotel is convenient to museums, shopping and the George Moscone Convention Center. In spite of being in a busy area, the rooms are properly soundproofed and the standard rooms are the most spacious in the city. The décor is elegantly understated in soft tones of brown and green with plenty of upscale amenities. The 277 rooms, including 46 suites, include flat screen televisions, down comforters and pillows, Italian marble baths with deep soaking tubs, and floor to ceiling windows with views of the city or Yerba Buena Gardens. The hotel touts its “residential feel,” which is appropriate for a hotel located on 17 floors of a complex that includes luxury apartments. Hotel guests have complimentary access to the gigantic 127,000 square foot LA Sports Club fitness center which includes a junior Olympic pool and full-size basketball court as well as access to over 100 group fitness classes.

Seasons Restaurant on the hotel’s fifth floor serves breakfast and lunch every day and dinner daily except Sunday and Monday. The very casually cool Seasons Bar and Lounge mixes specialty martinis served in hand-blown glassware.

Rates start at $230/night. Valet parking is $57/day. Note: Use the Jesse Square Public Parking Garage, at 223 Stevenson between 3rd and 4th, which charges $25/day, if you don’t need your car during your stay. There are no in and out privileges. If you get in before 10 a.m. the rate is $16/day. This is a real gem for San Francisco parking and it’s handy to Union Square, the Curran Theater and SFMOMA.
